Analysis of Reflection

Silver ribbons ripple...
The silken voice of moonlight
Echoes along a sleepy surface
While the sea beneath lies dreaming...
Astral whispers paint phantom silhouettes
On a living canvas,
Caressing soft waves, then fading into darkness.
She beams into her magic mirror
Perfecting her pose in different phases,
Reflecting all that she can catch of his distant fire.
She rejuvenates within the rapture
Of his unrivaled heat,
Her silver profile, the perpetual envy
Of shivering rock hunks floating amidst her shadows.
She shakes stardust from her tresses
Into ripe pools of poets dreams,
Assured through the sorcery of her soulmate
That her face forever remains the fairest.
