Gemini

Downtown
dancing spirits
sealed away with buildings
drive through us like patches of the living sky
thrown down.

My eye meets daylight
through the crumbling tower
as smothered wisdom cries salutations
like wisps of soft love
lost long ago, and again.

We lie broken and infiltrated
by bacteria with a brain.
