Analysis of Rebirth
My dreams are becoming that of reality
My defences are all but down to zero,
The walls have long stopped closing in
Rebuilding me into tomorrow's best hero.
There are no more bad dreams I dream
No more sad feelings making me blue,
Only the presence of a love turned warm
And the prettiest vision I now see of you.
The passing storm has come to pass us by
Seeking out those trapped in desperate times,
For I admit I was trapped but now I'm free
Ready to reveal the truth in all my rhymes.
They say the truth lightens one's heart
That the order of guilt can be diminished,
But whether this is false or it be true
My quest for justice is as yet unfinished.
So watch me dream this little dream
Where you alone hold my mended heart,
And when at last you reach out for me
For us, my love, it'll be until death do us part.
