Condemned

Consumed by love and torment I am
With the bitter-sweet taste in my mouth,
My life condemned from the very beginning
As sure as the Autumn birds fly south.
Across the dying Summer sky they fly
Taking with them the beat of my heart,
As in tragedy it beats a caring tune
So that one day the loneliness will depart.
Within my soul the true enemy awaits
Standing behind this badly beaten body's shell,
Laughing, forever teasing my mortal soul
Reminding me that my place is in that of hell.
So, if heaven on Earth is not to be mine
Then my wrath will d*mn them all,
From those who have cussed and cursed
To the betrayers I shall bring to fall.
