Analysis of Perfect Assassination

Inside the confines of a bitter laugh
there are shapes that explode divinity,
lyrical wisps of promise are obscured
as I set alight all regrets that shine.

Perhaps you'd like an encore as mists
devour these eyes that stare into cold space,
or an autographed smile; barbed with love's screams,
they are just piercing sounds which strip me bare,
don't concern yourself with my appetite
for I am full of broken promises.

An ardent enthusiast am I now,
dark folds of perfect assassination
gather wings I shrugged away with ease,
and I weep for the death of wild romance
while paradise captures fine poetry.

A moment away from security,
songs of Valhalla scrape up my torture,
and I can only record the events
as opportunity's fashionable
crack whisk me away to the bottle's domain.
