Analysis of Passion

Gerri Hudson 1969 (USA)

What is it that he felt
when he knew is mother wept?
How could he be so strong
to suffer so long?
Did the blood from the crown set sting to his eyes?
Did he even hear the belivers and their desperate cries?
Or was he so focused
on the reason for this day?
Knowing this is a debt
that we could never repay?
But his fathers love
was so great for us all
that he gave is son once and for all.
This love is one that no man can portray
and I would like to thank him
face to face someday-Oh what passion!
