Analysis of Opinion
My opinion is mine
your opinion is yours
yours to keep and dwell on
till you get tired perhaps
and again - gossip on
and exaggerate and elongate upon
if you weren't important
no one would speak a word of you
if you didn't have something to offer
no one would make a mention of you
people that talk you down are mostly
your subordinates; lower beings
who want to feed their ego
by making you look small
when in their minds you are tall
people who want what you have
and think they can have it
by jealousy instead of learning
leaning the ropes in humility
rather than competition
so they keep talking
and yapping and lisping
making you a subject
an important one for that matter
a bone of contention
a contender in the competition
even if you don't run consciously
the secret is keep your pace
the deal is steady your race
on one path you stroll
on one kayak you row
on one rhythm you flow
where strive is focus
diligence your strength
God your guide
unto the peak of your endeavour
the pinnacle of success
the highest echeloen of the pyramids!
