Analysis of open your eyes

The anger in the world is so overwhelming
My eye's are so open and there is no use pretending
That we're forced fed the bad, and now evil's prevailing
It makes me assume that this world is soon ending
Please open your eyes, heart, and your ears.
The media is trying to over flood us with fear
Fears like a poison that now runs through your veins
When we live in fear nothings attained
Rip fear out your minds and so much is gained
Then they'll fear us when this world is retained

I'm def don't consider myself a poet I started writing after my sister passed away...Just to try and express myself with out having to throw my misery or sadness on anyone else.... At times my poems are dark but that's just how I felt at the moment more…
