Analysis of Obstructed View



Moving carelessly forward
in a backwards society
where people drive under the speed limit
in the fast lane
they say people here are nice
they lie...
truth is, people here are nice to tourists
and those born and bred here
they look down on new comers
we are taking up space
thwarting the pace
of five minute stop lights
there are many flags and license tags
to admire while traffic backs up
even the mountains in the background
appear to be agitated
the homeless shake their heads
as they walk together without a care
we are all dwellers in this place
where the fit hits the shan
