Analysis of Not anymore
You approached me like a gentleman
and told me about your crush
You passed me notes
and poems in cards
With chocolate, flowers and gifts
You learnt through my friend
and acted like you cared
you fooled me into believing
and I fell for your charm
I thought you were the one
I guess I was wrong
And now it is over
I know it is
You were slipping away
from the start
And I would rather live without
Than with someone
who lives on lies
Someone I do not trust
Not anymore.
