Analysis of Night Vision

It was the dead of night
When something odd did occur;
He peered out the window
And heard a loud angry grrr!

He could not believe what he saw
Standing right there in front;
He stood frozen in abject fear
When he heard a garrulous grunt!

He had huge hairy red eyes
As a wobbly tongue hung from its face;
It slurped and snorted and slobbered
As it stumbled all over the place!

He was paralyzed with uncertainty
Which raced full speed towards real fear;
That's when he realized it wasn't the window
It was his brand new fancy hanging mirror!
