Analysis of Never Surrender
Loneliness awaits me like a good host.
Folded me into its dreadful embrace.
Kiss my cheek with its ice cold lips,
Its breath froze my heart in its painful state.
Death beckoned a tempting finger,
promising peace...of painless slumber.
I paused between agonized breathings
and declined death biddings.
For I still have a fight to battle,
and I intend to triumph, not surrender.
