Analysis of Natures window

I feel the wind it chills the night my
body screams to this winters bite
the frost clings hard upon my brow
all is calm it's snowing now
the birds wont sing there spring time songs
we will sit by our fires as our nights grow long
and gaze out our windows
far across the fields
and dream of the beauty this winter will yeild
in natures window
