Gentiana Ruda

Gentiana Ruda was born on May 22, 1881: in Elbasan, Albania. Her parents, Alush and Shyqyrije, encouraged their daughter at an early age not to be shy or reserved and express her feelings and how she viewed the world that surrounded her.At an early age she loved reciting poetry. When she started to attended school, she discovered her passion for reading and writting. She loved reading and thanks to an extended library with all the most famous collection pieces of our time, that her father had collected over the years she could nurture this passion. She began writing several poems at a young age, or even New Year Card Messages for her parents or uncles. It was her way to personalize each card on her own way. All the way thru highschool all her essays ended up being written in a poetry form, a passion that was also encouraged from her father and his passion for the literature world. more…
