Analysis of My Search Ended
In dreams he comes to me every night.
I cannot make out a face.
He speaks to me in a soft almost musical tone of voice.
It sends shivers through my spine and sets my mind on flight.
I fear him, I love him, I know him.
I walk the streets and search the faces.
I listen to the voices hoping for a sound of familiarity.
All the faces I look into are blank.
Where and who is this creature that haunts me?
Is it simply a dream?
A dream that is driving me to madness in a futile search?
I pray for sleep although it seems I never wake.
I long to know his love.
I need his music to envelope me.
Now weeping, I hear all as I look down at very
familiar faces.
I now see his image so clearly as I drift
towards him
I am at peace with my search
