Analysis of My Misconception
VERSE
I can't see the window
This is not what It meant to be
You are not my shadow
Nor the reflection
I hold within
I can't see the window
What you hold before me
I cannot be
Is this my misconception?
Or am I just a fool
Caught in your obsession
CHORUS
Why do you claim to be
This imaginary beautiful thing
To dance in the heavens above me
And show me a world of dreams
Why do you claim to love me
When your eyes tell me different things
Is this just your torment?
*Or you just haven't noticed yet.
*Or your mind just isn't set
*Or that's just it
VERSE
I will find my window
I approach for better things
You are like a vampire
Your only motive,
to suck me in
I can see my window
My escape to better things
The only possibility
To the fool
who has become me
Born for your obsession
BRIDGE
You take the things that love me
And f*ck with all the truths
Whilst you path your way to glory
In a Ute with no wheels
You take our photographs
Then breaks them in front of me
You burn away my everything
So there's nothing left to dream
This is not the answer
To the damage that's burning through
You will only work to lose it
If the damage becomes you
