With You...

There are no words to describe,
The way it feels when I am with you.
This overwhelming urge.
To be as one with you.

In all my life I’ve never met a person with light in their eyes as bright as you.
You open my mind to a different view,
Changed how I see life and hold me close when I am blue.
You showed how together we create a world of whatever we put our minds to.

I can see now, why love is the key to the universe,
Why it is mentioned in every wise verse.
Because love creates the greatest force,
A force so strong, it’s behind every curse

It’s what binds us to the forms we've held.
Until we are no longer bound
By the mystery of that beautiful sound
And the key to all that’s found.

It is what it is, once you see.
Forever as one, re-born to exist
In a time-like mirage
Played out by everyone

No past, present or future
Just existence as one
A magnetic force
We call love

Geni Kelepouris

I began writing when i was 16. I enjoy expressing myself through all forms of art ( my profile pic is one of my art pieces). I have had a life full of tragedies and suffer post traumatic stress. I find that art and writing soothes my soul and allows me to heal from all the pain that has been haunting me. I have an obsession with existence and love nothing more than to discuss all the different theories of why we are here. My poems cover a range of topics from love and inspiration to complete random mania. There are also some very deep poems that i needed to write to get the sorrow from my life. I just hope whoever is reading them enjoys them. more…
