Analysis of My Childhood Home

In my mind I keep travelling back
to my Childhood Home
that seems to have vanished in the stream of time
but is still so vivid inside of me
as though I have never left the enchanted land
while I still hear the voices through the windows
from family members, relatives and friends
like a familiar whisper that calls my name
as I see the house made of red bricks
beside trees with branches swaying in the wind
over the garden with roses and tulips
and a porch and a green lawn
where the dew lays on the surface like pearls of silver
while I and the other children
reflect ourselves in the dreams
shining behind the horizon
that never gave us as much
as the days back in My Childhood Home
