Analysis of Morning Blooms

Dawn gathers atop the petals,
swirling honey, sparkling dew

Our bodies hidden within the grass,
wheat swaying against the blue

Starlights keep your eyes blinded,
dreams still lightly dance

Midnight exhales from my lungs,
so I jump and take the chance

My eyes silently wander to you,
run over your silhouette

The sun barely lighting your cheekbones,
a face I could never forget

Quietly, so quietly, I hold my
breath as I watch you breathe

Counting each rise, harmonizing with
each fall, beautifully with ease

A smile sneaks across my face
and lingers while you wake

And before your eyes could catch my blush,
I turn away and ache

Your presence burning up the stars,
I exhale heavily, ruffle flowers

Then your fingers intertwine with mine,
bumbling smiles, seductive showers
