Fingerpaint

My fingertips engulfed
in blue rivers of paint
Carry me away inside
your gushing purple tide

Gray puddles weigh down
like feathers or like
pavement
fresh and wet like after
bein' poured
or minutes after rain

My finger believes
that gray means gloomy
so it pulls it to
oppisite sides

Gray and yellow collides!

A thousand suns reflecting
pulling orange rays
injecting red burns
(good thing it's washable)

My finger swirls 'round
to greet every colour on the
wheel
along with the neon's
the green's and baby pastel's

My finger dances a
painter's dance
Throw colours but look
at you now!

Look down at your palette
look down at the ground
all the fun is over

Rivers gushing brown.
