Analysis of More Than a Face
I'm more than just
A face in the crowd.
Most everyone knows this,
For I'm very loud.
But you seem not to.
You think I'm just another face to pass by,
Not even giving me
The simplest hi.
Why can't anyone see that I'm more than the freak I seem to be?
I'm practically alone.
I hide behind my freakishness,
Like a blanket I have sewn.
No one sees the real me.
They are all too proud
Just to turn and see
I'm more than that face in the crowd.
