Analysis of Moonlit Path
Rocks act as stepping stones,
Silver moss glistening in the moonlight.
We run down the moonlit path-wind blowing in our hair-
Till the little homes are out of sight.
We stop by the river,
That shines like the stars.
Tiny fish swim around,
Staring up towards Mars.
You slip your hand into mine,
As we share a confident smile,
That lets me know that we will
Be together awhile.
A fawn walks timidly
In the fallen leaves.
The birds begin to chirp,
As dawn arrives, so we share grieves.
You sigh as we run home
Before breakfast is made, but we share a little laugh.
We love to sneak out
Together on the moonlit path.
