Analysis of Missing Me
Anny McNeilus 1982 (Minnesota)
I understand that Im not the me that you want with you...
But understand that the love this me has for you is so deeply true...
Understand that the me you love is still around...
She just needs some faith from you that cant seem to be found...
You say when you see then your faith will come-
well, d*mn it-could you at least sometimes throw me a crumb!!
Im still here, just so sick of your doubt-
"IM HERE" how loudly should I shout?
I'm sorry that me is a bit off-not quite right....
But she is so close, even within my sight...
Its not fair that you can put my Love on hold...
Leaving me shaking from the cold...
Your ups, your downs...
Your smiles, your frowns...
I accept and love everything about you..
Why cant you show me that your love is true?
