Analysis of Misery and Ecstasy

If misery loves company,
is ecstasy left forsaken?

Because lonliness is agony,
unless I am mistaken.

If only you would come to me,
before the world awakens.

My heart would find some clarity,
my faith remain unshaken.

If all that glitters is not gold,
then what's the sparkle in your eyes?

Because the things you left,as yet untold,
all your words could not disguise.

If only you would take control,
there would be no more good byes.

My heart would then return to whole,
in fact my soul could die.
