Through It All

For every time I ran, 1000 times I stumbled.
For all the pride I had, every time I'm humbled.
For all the plans I made, most of them would fail.
Through it all, in the end, your love for me prevailed.

For every lesson learned, another was forgotten.
For every one of those, you patiently retaught them.
For every time I let you down, I'd hang my head in shame.
Through it all, in the end, your love remained the same.

For every time I laughed, it would end in tears.
For every hope I had, they were wrapped in fears.
For every stormy day, and every shrouded night,
Through it all, in the end, your love became my light
