Analysis of Midnight Visitor

I had not expected to see you here so soon
Were you in the area or on the dark side of the moon?
It really doesn't matter, it's just curiosity
I try to hide my anxiousness by chatting nervously

You seem comfortable to let me talk, like a psychiatrist
I guess you are, in a strange way, to all that are on your list
You are patient but insistent in your silent interaction
You well know that in the end, you'll have your satisfaction

How clever you are, how quiet! I wonder why you wait!
You drag the moment out while you decide upon my fate
For though we haven't ever met, I know your purpose well
Please tell me what will be, sir: To Heaven or straight to Hell?
