Analysis of Memories

Small footsteps echoing
down the hall.
Tinkling laughter throughout
the house.
Breeze blowing through
open windows.
Shadows bouncing off
the walls.
Sweet smells drifting
from the kitchen.
I listen, I hurry!!!
She reaches out to hold me
in her loving arms,
And smiles as I call her
name - MOTHER!
A dream!??
So real, so close,
Yet, so far!
