Analysis of Maybe

May be I’ll find you, one day you’ll see me,
May be we’ll see each other intentionally freely,
May be share ourselves and look in awe,
As realise see we click like we have never before,
May be we’ll connect our hands,
As we walk across hills and look over England’s green land,
We’ll share moments like these over and again,
May be we’ll cherish each moment spent,
Together we’ll be feeling as one,
And apart we’ll feel we’re missing something,
May be we’ll feel our heart fall apart,
As we have to see a time when one of us departs,
But then that heart will be filled with something,
As we wait for the return of togetherness returning,
Then we’ll know we missed each other,
That’s when we realise we’re in love with one another,
May be you’ll wonder if I had not noticed you,
Would you have walked on by and seen your day through,
I wonder maybe if I would have stayed quiet,
Would we have intentionally freely seen each other really,
You see, it’s all about taking these chances,
Chance is what? Maybe a beginning of romance,
I’m glad I never let my chance go by,
I’d be empty now without you by my side,
You’re my fire in my heart my light at sunrise,
My companion under starlight, you’re my favourite dream,
Nothing can better you, you’re perfection to me,
May be this is not chance, maybe we are meant to be.

Adrian Epstein

I have been writing poetry on and off for years... not because I think I'm good but because I love expressing myself this way. Its so much easier to write things down on a page, I guess a poem is somekind of diary for me of what went on in a moment of my day. more…
