Here in Minneapolis - this is my home
Here's where I'll stay got no need to rome
Got everything I need here by me
Got my day time job
Got my night job too
Got three pretty women
To keep me from feeling blue
Ya , I've got it made in the shade
I just can't help but to wear a happy face
Well I ain't got much money
But that don't worry me none
Cause I've got a good wife
A daughter and a son
And we all live together in the same house
I know what you're thinking
That Man's a louse
Well I'm gonna have to write
If I wanna sing
And all of these words
They don't mean a thing
It's just another song I like to sing
Ya, I've got it made in the shade
And I'm wearing a happy face
