Analysis of Lover's Song

A girl, a poet
Wrote to me from a far country
Requesting that I reciprocate
In my kind of verse.

I could not write in her own language back
But nibbled in extemporary variation back
The poet's two letters of her name
Subjoined to a slip of verse.

She sent me a poem
Codefied and calibrated
Except the nakedness of her dreams
Locked in the dark
Beneath the womb of thoughts
In a poetic beauty of excellent craftmanship.
Like a seed yet to sprout.

Soon, she declares
She understands me better
Who too can dress old words new
Then she transmutes me into a poem
Singing it to the nod of heads.
