Analysis of Love Storm, Rain Storm
POUND POUND POUND!
On the rooftop
I hear the rain.
Tornado warnings expected,
Will school be canceled?
Despite the danger,
I long to go outside
And stretch my arms and open my eyes
In the cold, stinging, night water.
I long to stand in the eye of the storm
Sprayed with mist and broken dreams,
Love and broken hearts.
