Analysis of Love & Hate

I am in love with this man,
who sometimes I cannot stand.
He makes me happy, but also sad,
and sometimes he makes me very mad.

I've told myself to walk away,
but he keeps persuading me to stay.
With his good looks and elegant charm,
I believe that somewhere there is a good heart.

He is kind, but also deceiving,
and with my weakness I continue receiving.
He has hurt me so many times,
that I can see the pain in his eyes.

Though he does not stop the lies and deception,
without loyalty, there is no reception.
I loathe this man, but I can't understand,
why I continue giving in to his demands.

Maybe my love is stronger than my hate,
I need to escape this petrifying fate.
For I will not continue, this I refuse.
His manipulation is no longer amused.
