Analysis of Loss
Love is so bitter-sweet
that pain goes hand in hand
with delight.
Oh send your thoughts to me,
though you are perhaps weary:
I would do you no harm.
If my soul should crumple and wither,
Seek it again, for me,
And restore my self.
Pray, give me your hand,
For I am frightened
that you, my life,
will be lost unto me.
