Analysis of Loneliness...

That void empty world;
                                                    some never find,
                                                    others never escape.

That void empty world;
                                                    some can't live with,
                                                    others can't live without.

That void empty world;
                                                    some create for protection,
                                                    others create for destruction.

That void empty world;
                                                    some choose to live in,
                                                    others choose to die in.

Jodi Jackson

I was born in Dennison, Ohio, in 1960. I began writing poetry as a teenager as a way of coping with all of the emotional ups and downs associated with that time of my life. As the years have gone by, poetry has become my soul's voice. I've spoken of life, love and loss through my poetry, expressing through words the emotions deeply felt. Even though I began writing for myself, never intending others to read them, I've come to realize that they only truly exist when they are read. As you read these poems, you give them life and bring them into existence. Thank you. more…
