Analysis of Little Boy Heart

You talked to me today
I felt your joy
Deep down, inside
I felt like a little boy

It seemed I was your closest friend
Though, we had never met
I wanted to spend the day with you
Then, thought maybe not yet

After you left, I laughed a little
Never so content
Wanting to tell the first person I saw
Would they know what I meant

Afraid, if I told anybody excitedly
They would call me a little boy
I then decided
To heck with their words
I will not be coy

So, like one under the Christmas Tree
enthralled with a brand new toy
This is the way I feel about you

Signed: The Little Boy
