Analysis of Let It Rain
Let it rain, oh God let it rain,
wash away misery and pain!
And mingle my tears with showers,
turning sadness into flowers.
Erase my fears of yesterday,
with Your rejuvenating spray.
All my heartaches have left for good
and now life feels the way it should.
I've finally walked away,
from the abuse and lies today.
And through a veil of drizzling drops,
my tears cease and the anguish stops.
Freedom's so amazingly sweet,
I skip along on dancing feet!
And hope slowly begins to grow,
encouraging me as I go.
