Analysis of It's on us
Listening to sheet after sheet of the rain
As it slowly washes away the pain
The pride, the sorrows and the fears
It does all of this with our collective tears
No mere mortal alone
But all of our cultures intone
From the softest cricket song
To the delightful sound of a bong
The realization of right and wrong
The whys the what’s the who’s the where’s
From the salmon to the bears
Regardless of who really cares
We all stare intently at the moon,
The sun rises and the sun sets
And all the while we wove this net
So it is on us to maintain
What powers shall finally reign
