Analysis of In Whose Image? by Rev. Dr. Fred M. Lassonde

In Whose Image? by Rev. Dr. Fred M. Lassonde

Have you ever wondered about the world being a stage

Do you know who you are or do you ask in whose image

in whose image am I?  Is it Gods or is it ape

is my person, my body and spirit, taking a shape

that in eternity will make me glad

or will it be something bad?

Not to late to make it right

as long as we are here we can fight

the hellacious things we have been taught

we can overcome and be not wraught

by lies from the pit of evil thought

we do not have to in them be caught

if we read the Bible Gods Word and be kind

we can learn to put on Jesus Christ and His mind!

We are shaped in the image of God

no longer our spirit by evil trod

No monkeys uncle or aunt you see

we can have Jesus you and me

then in this world we will be

able oh God to love and live for thee!
