Analysis of In God We Trust

Hear my prayer, O Lord, my God
Do not ignore my plea,
Listen, I need an answer
I need to forgive my enemy?

But this anguished heart within me
See terrors of death assail,
Horror has overwhelmed to save
Young souls,...from a burning Hell.

In God We Trust,.. our motto
Under God when allegiance said
Removing God out of our country
Only proves...our faith is dead.

They want to take God out of everything
Wanting His Name off our money too,
Taking the prayers out of schools
And everything we do.

Lord, You are our strength, our only hope
Forgiving is hard to do,
We're are only strangers in this land
And, we're merely,just passing through.
