Analysis of In Case We Never

In case we never meet again
to walk this earth together.
I want you to know, my love,
that I will love you forever.
In case we never hug, in case we never kiss,
In case we go our separate ways,
Our wedding day to miss.
In case our paths entwined, diverge
Never again to meet, to merge.
In case our future, so bright, grows dim
Just in case there's someone else
who draws your life to him.
My love for you will never fade
My heart will never falter
Even if together we never
quite make it to the altar.
There are a million things in my heart
to tell them I couldn't begin.
But these are a few things I thought I'd say
In case we never meet again.
