Analysis of In Arrogance You Condemn Yourselves

When death swallows my name,
the gallows will rocket in the sky.
With noose-woven wings  in stain,
dancing with shadows, on four-ply.

A hooded hulk, his swollen wrist,
blank stare through burlap tears.
Will remember a girl never kissed,
as the height of any man's fears.

The judge in glutton's sucked eye,
will finger his navel in robes of fire.
His stolen conscience, will rareify,
with sedition of syntax alibi, in tire.

When a mob gathers, fat-cocked,
smug, with self-righteous certitude.
My spirit will p*ss on them, shocked,
at how biased they sing in gratitude.

As justice calls out my name in vain,
I'll be freedom's namesake in bold.
While karma back-tracks in red vein,
my blood blends spirit into new gold!

Tracy Bollinger

Always liked to write and have written poems periodically over the years. I've never shared them withanyone except for immediate family. Decided to take the plunge and put some out 'there'. But bearwith me, I don't really know what I'm doing. This is therapy of sorts and I hope to let go of the need to rhyme. It's a mental condition. I recently found out my grandmother used to rhyme all herletters to anyone. Go figure. I hope you all enjoy my ranting! I do like what I've seen other's post. more…
