Analysis of I Want the Butterflies Back
You were the Only One
Who made my mind clear
Now everything is singed
With the burning of tears
I want, again, the feeling
Of nervousness and love
I want the butterflies back
But they're too high above
Now their wings are burnt
Torn and left alone
Fires burning high
Time is spent to mourn
I don't want what I'm feeling;
Abondonment and pain.
If I can't be by your side,
What is there to be gained?
Now, another is One
Truest love is gone
Missing you, Lucifer*
To you, I'm still drawn
*Lucifer is the nickname for someone I know. Not referring to THE Lucifer. Just saying. lol
