Analysis of I Thought You Knew, I Hope You Know
You were my world
Everyone knew but you
I guess I should have told you
But thought you knew
I cheated, you forgave me
I cried and you wiped my tears
I learned to appreciate you then
I guess I should have told you
But I thought you knew
I felt you betrayed me
I wouldn't let you explain
I was hurt, confused, wanted you to explain
I guess I should have told you
But I thought you knew
I miss you, love you, want you back
I should tell you
But I think you know
