Analysis of I Am

Life flowed and growled Emotions swept and piled over the land
Deluges of tears cut and raged The senses are cracked and baked
I am merely me: yet
I stand alone with my thoughts I seldom need the drink of life
I am strong and thick I am revered
I am merely me: yet
Atmosphere prohibits closeness Stubble bristles and burns
Thickness causes misconceptions Roots are passionately stubborn
I am merely me: yet
Atmosphere is soft and sensuous Stubble is soft and silky
Thickness is strong and inviting Roots are strong and safe
I am merely me: yet
You share thoughts and hopes You offer life
You bring beauty and grace You show compassion and love
I am merely me: yet
Rainbow is beautiful Petals are silky
Nectar is sweet Seeds are life
I am merely me: yet
Without you there is no me
Together we are an oasis in a desert
