Analysis of How Love Dies Permanently

There was a time I could love another,
Rejoiced in his embrace,
Felt lost when he was away.

I had faith in our love,
We talked and laughed for hours,
Discussed good days, bad days, hardship.

There was a spring in my step,
We accepted each other for who we were,
Never let the sun set on an argument.

But the entire relationship was a lie,
The ultimate betrayal,
A relationship destroyed.

Now there is no point trying,
The last 3 guys I dated landed in jail,
And 4 different male acquaintances I was not dating,
All 4 attempted suicide within the last 30 days
And told the cops it was because I wouldn't date.

This is how love dies permanently.

(by the way, the only man I married turned out to be gay)
