A kiss in the rain,
A tear on her cheek,
A love that you know,
But you never can speak,
Her name is a song,
Gentle and brave,
Her love is a rhyme,
Never taken but gave,
His voice is her sanctuary,
Loving and kind,
His time is of hers,
Never given to mind
