Analysis of Helter-Skelter

When life becomes helter-skelter everything seems out of kilter.
It makes you want to run for shelter.

When life becomes scribble-scrabble voices seem like noisy babble.
It makes you bring down the raised gavel.

When life becomes topsy-turvy everyone seems brash and nervy.
It makes your way twisted and curvy.

When life becomes rabble-rousing demagogues seem to have housing.
It makes you feel just like carousing.

When life becomes razzle-dazzle everywhere seems without mazel.
It makes your nervous system frazzle.

When life becomes brutal-burlesque caricatures seem picaresque.
It makes your mental image grotesque.
