Analysis of Hate
I can move past anger, but I don't use the word hate often.
It has the implication of never forgiving and moving on.
The poem below contains only hate.
Hate in my eyes,
Daggers they've become.
If my glare could kill,
You would be the one.
Hatred for actions.
Each a great loss.
Both were young lives,
Each one you just cost.
Hate for your lies.
The trouble you brought,
Hate for the fact,
You never got caught.
Forgiveness is a gift,
I cannot afford,
When you destroyed my life,
And attempted yourself with a cord.
Moving past you,
For now I cannot do,
Hate still rules my heart,
I'm glad you know that too.
