Analysis of happy new year

As the year draws to a sweet end in the next few hours I would like to take this special moment to say
thank you, to all of you who made this 2013 a worthwhile

to the ones that loved the unique sound of sweet poetry
to the ones that hated it too... even if it came from me

to the ones that spoke sweet words to the ears of the deaf
to the ones that held them back from the ears itching to hear

to the ones that loved
to the ones that shoved it off

to the ones that believed even in the heat of steaming doubt
to the ones that crumbled under the weight of the slightest pressure spilling out

to the ones that said i am sorry in the shoes of innocence
to the ones that sought for justice even in the shoes of their guilt

to the ones that craved for good knowledge
to the ones that hailed every fool's nonsense

to the ones that criticized to make alive
to the ones that criticized to break the hive

to the ones with jealousy deeply rooted
to the ones with  courage uniquely boosted

to the ones who smiled even in the face of death
to the ones who died a thousand times all for the sake of fear

to the creepy pessimist
to the  witty optimist

to the ones with a family
to the ones who are lonely

to the ones who love to celebrate
to the ones who only love to tell the date

to friends
to foes

you all made the year 2013 a worthwhile.... and in few seconds we beat our chest in sweet harmony  to a new year with aspirations even higher

with love from Philip Asaya
