Analysis of Gone
He loves her presence, but not her life
Her heart still burns just like a knife
It hurts his heart to see her cry
But all he does is stand there, and doesn't try
As the seasons change his lies become more
She keeps on and on, but her hopes are just torn
His life was of her's, thoughts and dreams
She's broken now; right at the seams
She tries and tries, then finally lives
Maybe it's hers, and not just his
She moves on - he stays the same
He finally realizes, but never came
To the time where it finally dawned
That she wasn't comin back - that she was gone
